Kevin... Hurray for you! I couldn’t have said it better.

I just returned from Costa Rica and more importantly Prisma Dental on Aug. 1. My experience was and has been sensational! Dr. Rubinstein was by far more attentive to my concerns and needs than any dentist I have ever been to in the states. Being self-employed I don’t have the luxury of dental insurance. I set off to do the basic cosmetic dentistry work that I kept postponing due to lack of funds.
Upon arrival I was welcomed by Tiffany who immediately made me feel right at home. The office is impeccably clean and state of the art. The lab is impressive to say the least and would rival any dental lab in the states. The convenience of having the lab right next door is an invaluable asset. The dental staffs are all neat and clean with hair pulled back and creased uniforms.

I had what I would consider extensive work done, deep scaling, two root canals, two cavities, 13 crowns, inlays, two bridges and a few more procedures. Needless to say these things take time. I spent 71/2 hours in the chair one day and 5 ½ hrs the next. It was completely my choice and every step of the way I was completely numbed with Novocain (God, I hate those shots). I was given a sedative to relax and my comfort was always paramount. I only had 10 days, and I was going to take full advantage of the opportunity to have everything done to save time and money. The savings was astronomical to say the least. For the price of one bridge here in the states ($1,100.00 per tooth) I had enough to do all the work (Top and Bottom) of my mouth. More importantly, after all the cleaning, scraping, and laser whiting I know have a healthy and beautiful smile. I have the smile I always wanted and due to genetics and bad habits I was never able to have. My confidence is up 100 fold, and I’m trying to get used to the compliments.

FYI. I keep smiling at anything that casts a reflection just to reassure myself that it’s my smile looking back at me. This has been the one side effect that I’m battling…?

I spent a fraction of the cost and have the best souvenir I ever brought back from a vacation. My mom, two employees, and a few friends have all asked for the information because they too want to go to Prisma Dental to have work done with Dr. Rubinstein. If anyone has any concerns about Prisma Dental, don’t!
DR. Rubinstein is a true professional and perfectionist. The work that she did on me far surpassed what I ever could have hoped for.

I'd heard about this dentistry outfit from a friend who swears by them. Now I have another friend who's going to need some major bridge work to the tune of over $10,000 in the US, money she doesn't have. So I was very interested to read about your experiences. Glad to hear they were good!

Just one thing, though. Since when are root canals "cosmetic" dentistry?!?
